Where two or more subjects are required, I will be able to offer some discount on the full price.

If you live within a 25 mile radius of Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, I will be happy to photograph your pet for you free of charge. A greater distance would incur some travelling costs if you required a home visit for photographs. Other wise you can send me your own photographs for an appraisal free of charge via my contact form .

Photographs: Here are a few tips if you wish to email your own photographs to me.

• Please try to take photographs in natural daylight, ideally on a not too sunny day, and avoid using flash photography.
• Get down to your pet or animal's level and take lots of photographs from different angles.
• The head and shoulders of your pet or animal should fill the frame. Decide upon the type of pose that you want from your pet, for eample, alert, with ears pricked, or relaxed.

You need to provide a photograph of your pet or animal in the exact pose that you want in your finished painting! Here is an example:

It is helpful to send an extra photograph or two from different angles as this helps me to look at your pet's colour and texture if I have not been able to meet them myself.

The size of each portrait is dictated to a degree by the physical appearance of each individual pet. For example, a small cat needs to be treated differently from a large alsatian! I will be able to advise you about the size of portrait that will best suit your pet.

Posting and packaging if required will be an additional cost to the prices listed below.

I like to provide a complete service and frame my portraits for you. I use an excellent, bespoke picture framer from Ashbourne, Derbyshire, Paul Williamson ( tel: 01335 343054, email: will.pix@virgin.net ) .
Frames vary in price between £20 - £80 approximately, depending on the size and type of material chosen. Paul makes beautiful, hardwood, polished frames; for example, in oak or ash. These will enhance the colours in your portrait, or you can have gold or other colours if you prefer.

The prices given below are guidelines. I will be able to give you an exact quotation once I have seen your pet or animal and discussed your requirements with you.
